Introduction

The B’nai B’rith Anti- Defamation Commission recognise that education is a key in overcoming racism. The Commission therefore places great emphasis on providing resources on anti-racist education to teachers and pupils alike.

The B’nai B’rith Anti- Defamation Commission develop and disseminate appropriate educative material which equips teachers with the resources to deal with the issue of racism in the classroom. and provides guidance for students involved in this area of study.

The Education division is currently developing a national program to be provided to trainee teachers while at University.

Past publications include The Prejudice Book which is series of exercises on educating about the nature of prejudice and how to overcome it in the classroom, and

Multicultural Australia: A Guide to Combating Prejudice and Racism in Schools which included a list of resources for further reference.
